Emmerdale triple exit sparks Dingle death fears as fourth departure ‘sealed’
Sam left the village to go and visit Zak, while Chas and Eve also went on a trip in the wake of her cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile another exit could be on the cards for Angelica
An Emmerdale triple exit has sparked death fears for one beloved character, while a fourth departure looms.
During Friday’s episode (February 2) of the ITV soap, three Dingle family members temporarily bid farewell to the village after recent news. Sam Dingle (James Hooton) decided to go and visit Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell), who is currently living in Scotland with Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).
Fans of the soap will know that Steve sadly passed away aged 77 following an illness in December. It’s unknown whether Sam’s visit is linked to a possible exit for the character, but fans believe it will be announced that Zak has also died.
Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “Sam is going to see Zak, me thinks this is when we will get the news that Zak has died.” Another added: “Won’t be long until the village find out about Zak’s death. I’m not ready.”
“Just thinking when are they gonna find out about Zak. Who else isn’t ready for that?” echoed a third. Someone else declared: “In tears after #Emmerdale tonight – OMG wait for when we hear Zak has passed away…”
Meanwhile a fifth speculated: “Looks like Zak’s death will be revealed on Belle & Tom’s wedding day – as I expected.” Sam wasn’t the only one to leave the village as Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) also departed with daughter Eve.
Chas was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, the same disease that killed her mother in 2022. Despite keeping it a secret from her family at first, Chas opened up to her loved ones about her devastating diagnosis.
Wanting to have fun before her treatment started, Chas whisked Eve away to spend some quality time with her. The two were driven to the train station by Sam as he headed to Scotland.
Emmerdale could be hit with a fourth exit in the coming weeks as it is likely Angelica King (Rebecca Brakes) could be sent to a youth detention centre. On New Year’s Eve, Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) tragically lost his life in a car accident.
While it was believed his twin sister Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) was behind the wheel, a guilty Angelica eventually confessed to committing the crime. Angel was devastated upon discovering she could receive a custodial sentence which would see her taken away from her family.
